It should be quite universal, therefore we introduce the HowTo for static pages generated dynamically with Xsiteable.

Main components for creating the pages:

CSS cascading stylesheets

Xsiteable, thanx to the creators of this almost mature product. Needs a little bit (2 days) of modification, but it works nice.

XML, XSL stylesheets.

The original files are implemented in the .orig code (TopicMaps notation), where only content of the page in simple text, plus XML header and root element are defined. After the Sitemap definition, the Xsiteable processor is run. It generates the .html, .rss, and similar files, copies appropriate .CSS sheets and is ready to be deployed.

Images are not managed by the Xsiteable system.

Some really exciting technologies were used here, to create design-rich [I hope so] pages. Feel free to browse around and click anything you want.

Many years had passed since I first time tried to create somethnig, that could be eventually called "web-page". On this journey I found many solutions, possibilities, tried many software packages, but after using Flash,Corel Draw, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera, lynx, links... I decided to try something simple, without large download times (except for some pictures).

The pages run on Linux server, Fedora Core 8 x86_64 at the moment. http://www.mosi.sk.
